Dodge Charger
With variants that range from the quickest, fastest and most powerful sedan in the world to an efficient V-6-powered, all-wheel-drive form of transportation, the (standard rear-wheel-drive) Dodge Charger is a full-size sedan that is America’s only four-door muscle car. There are five models to choose from: SXT, GT, R/T, Scat Pack, and SRT Hellcat. The SXT and GT models come with a 292-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 (300 in the GT) and the SXT is available with all-wheel-drive. The R/T gets a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 making 375 horsepower while the Scat Pack gets a 485-horsepower 6.4-liter HEMI V-8. The SRT Hellcat gets a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 generating 717 horsepower. Dragstrip-oriented features on the R/T Scat Pack and SRT models include Launch Assist, which uses sensors to watch for wheel hop at launch, and Line Lock, which engages the front brakes to hold the car stationary, but leaves the rear wheels free for a burnout.
