Kia Niro
Kia’s Niro is a hybrid crossover for buyers looking for a spacious and efficient family vehicle. All hybrid Niros have a 4-cylinder paired to an electric motor for 139 combined horsepower and are front-wheel-drive-only. The Niro plug-in hybrid (PHEV) has the same engine paired to a larger electric battery for up to 26 miles of electric-only range. There are five trims of the standard Niro to choose from: the base FE, LX which adds a smart key, mid-range EX, sport-oriented S Touring with 18-inch black alloy wheels and Harman/Kardon sound system, and the top-range Touring with leather seats and front seat ventilation. The PHEV version has three trim levels: base LX, midrange EX which adds blind spot detection and a 10-way power driver’s seat, and top-range EX Premium with LED headlights and leather seats. An all-electric Niro EV with an electric motor that provides an estimated 201 horsepower and 291 lb-ft. of torque with a range of up to 240 miles on a single charge is on sale and is available in midrange EX and upscale EX Premium trims.
