Mazda’s CX-5 compact SUV gets significant updates for 2019, with the availability of a more powerful engine along with higher-end trim levels. Customers have five trim levels to choose from: base Sport, midlevel Touring, and well-equipped Grand Touring as well as the newly introduced Grand Touring Reserve and top-end Signature. Buyers should note that the interior of the Signature comes only with Caturra Brown Nappa leather seats. The Grand Touring Reserve and Signature come with a new turbocharged 4-cylinder making 250 horsepower and have all-wheel-drive standard. All other trims come with a 187-horsepower 4-cylinder with front-wheel-drive standard and all-wheel-drive optional. Standard features include a 7-inch full-color touch screen display, 2 front USB inputs, LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, Smart City Brake Support automatic emergency braking, and blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
